Dr. K.V. Krishna Reddy obtained his BE from Osmania University in the year 1993
and ME in Civil Engineering from BITS Pilani.
He joined Gammon India Limited in 1995, and worked for 5 years in the areas of
Bridges, Industrial Buildings, Intake works and ISO 9001 practices. He was
instrumental in preparing procedural documents and coordinating various
construction sites and head office to realise the dream of achieving ISO 9001 at
Gammon India Limited.div>
Having acquired sufficient knowledge in various industrial practices and with
a quest to teach and train students with practical orientation has joined Vasavi College of Engineering in 1999. During this period he obtained his
PhD from National Institute of Technology, Warangal in the area of Highway
Engineering.
&n As a part of his reasearch work he has designed and fabricated a Medium Scale
Accelerated Pavement Rut Tester which can be used to evaluate rutting resistance
of flexible pavements. He has published more then 10 papers in both national and
international journals and conferences. He has also given a number of expert
lectures to his credit. He is a trainer and guest speaker for the Pradanmantri
Gram Sadak Yojana, Where in he has shared his knowhow with a number of
government engineers helping them build better roads. He has conducted a few
national and international workshops. He is also a member to various technical
bodies.
